New Reception Intake - Getting to Know School Programme

If your child is due to start with us in Reception this September, you can find some useful information and videos below. 

The 'Getting to Know School Programme' (GTKS) is a comprehensive programme designed to give new families a thorough introduction to Bluecoat and to allow children to feel welcomed and prepared, ready to start their Bluecoat journey. We look forward to meeting you all in the coming weeks!

Tuesday 11th June - GROUP A ONLY:  9.30am-10.30am including a visit to the Forest School site (please dress appropriately)
Tuesday 18th June - GROUP B ONLY:  9.30am-10.30am including a visit to the Forest School site (please dress appropriately)
Wednesday 19th June - ALL: 4.15pm - Information meeting followed by optional tour of the school. For parents and carers only (not suitable for children)
Monday 24th June - GROUP A ONLY: 9.15am - 10.00am   GROUP B ONLY: 10.15am - 11.00am
Tuesday 2nd July - GROUP A ONLY: 9.15am - 10.00am   GROUP B ONLY: 10.15am - 11.00am - Parents and Carers drop in for a cuppa in the cafe to meet SEND and Admin team
