We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to join our dedicated team supporting pupils in our complex needs Resource Base provision from September 2025. These temporary roles offer a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, working within a supportive and inclusive school community.
Our Resource Base provides targeted support for children with a range of special educational needs. We are looking for individuals who can foster positive relationships, provide personalised learning support and help create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Duties may include:
• Supporting children with their learning, communication and personal development
• Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to deliver individualised programmes
• Promoting positive behaviour and self-regulation using relational and restorative strategies
• Supporting inclusion in mainstream activities where appropriate
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEND
• Is flexible, calm and patient in approach
• Works well in a team and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
This is a temporary post to support short-term needs within the provision. There may be opportunities to extend for the right candidate, depending on future needs.
