Curriculum Drivers
Our curriculum drivers underpin all that we do throughout the school and as such guide the curriculum that we offer.
With our Ambition driver, we empower each child to be their best and challenge themselves. This fosters high-quality outcomes and self-pride. By offering an aspirational curriculum, we inspire and empower children. This approach helps children develop ambitious targets and a determination to achieve significant goals throughout their lives.
With our B.L.P. (Building Learning Power) driver, we empower children to become effective and enthusiastic learners. We build resilience, helping them bounce back from setbacks and encourage resourcefulness, so they can tackle problems creatively. By fostering a strong love of learning, this driver helps pupils develop crucial habits that will enable them to thrive academically and personally throughout their educational journey and beyond.
With our Community driver, we nurture children's ability to form strong connections locally and globally. Pupils learn about their place in the world and the importance of positive engagement. This driver instils values of cooperation, respect for diversity and active citizenship, motivating children to contribute constructively to their various communities and understand their impact on others worldwide.
With our Sustainability driver, we develop responsible global citizens. Children are taught to care for the environment, value resources through reducing, reusing and recycling, and understand their impact on the world. The aim is to empower young learners with the knowledge and values needed to contribute to a more sustainable future for people and the planet, woven throughout their learning journey.

What do our school values actually look like? Just ask our students!
Each year group recently took on a different creative activity to showcase our four core drivers: Ambition, BLP, Community and Sustainability.
Take a look at the fantastic work our children have produced to see exactly what these drivers mean to them. We are incredibly proud of their insight and creativity!
